A lot happened in the past 2 years, but I don't want to bore you, so let's just say I'm starting back up this blog because of a baby who has completely stolen my heart, Luke! There are so many new things that happen daily/weekly and I don't
ever want to forget his milestones, so what better way to record them then here!? After all, this is the blog we started before getting married and allowed you to see our first apartment, we wrote about our first real jobs, graduating college, God bringing us home, buying a house, and now the best chapter yet...making a family!
Let's just jump back to November 26, 2012 at 8:48pm when Luke joined the world! 8 lbs 11 oz, 21 inches long and growing like crazy ever since! Wow, nothing describes the love of the Lord better then when you wrap your arms around your own baby and realize everything Christ did for us!
I liked having Luke towards the beginning of winter because it was a great excuse to stay at home and be warm! In the past 6 months, Luke has gained a ton of weight (specifics coming next week after his 6 mo appt), traveled to Destin, Fl, eats green beans, peas and sweet potatoes (first time today for the sweet potatoes and he loved them), he's been to several youth nights, stayed at Nana Karen's once, started teething (just one right now on the bottom!) and is starting to sit up.
Things are happening too fast.
Tyler has a
crazy busy summer ahead and Luke & I will get to join him at one of the many youth trips he has to plan. I promise, photos and updates to follow. For some strange reason, Luke allows me to write a novel on here, I hope your not too bored! ;)
Things I am thankful for today:
A Godly husband who leads us in the Word, my church family and those people I am close with who I will spend an eternity with in heaven, family living close, my 2 adorable nephews who also have part of my heart (you'll see plenty of photos of them too!) and lastly, where God has us right now --
the center of His will.
