Fall 2017 pics

Well, it looks like we had 2 kids and got busy, but little did I know life wasn't that busy! We experienced a crazy roller coaster of life thru our first foster care placement, 10 days after taking in the sweetest exchange student from Thailand. That defined busy in an entirely new light and after saying good bye to our first foster placement, the pace of life has slowed down and been much more enjoyable. The Lord has taught us so much thru several ups and downs in the past few years, we praise Him for his comfort and guidance in trying times!

The boys are 5 and 3.5!!! They are both enjoying half days of pre-school, Luke is in the afternoon class at St. Paul's (full day K in August, yikes!!) and Levi is getting plenty of help with his speech delay in the morning pre-school class. I look back on the gap that I didn't blog and so quickly forget what the Lord has done, how the boys transitioned during different phases, my love for Tyler, being a wife and mom....it's all sweet memories but they are fleeting! :(

My quilting business really took off since last time, grandma, uncle Chiz and I completed 76 quilts in 2017!! It's been a much needed break since the Christmas rush! More on my website -- www.kqco.weebly.com

I think I'm just writing this for myself, it's therapeutic. To look back and see how the boys grew (ugh, it's happening so fast), how the Lord moved us and grew us, who knows.

I've thoroughly enjoyed BSF the past 3 years - this year we are studying Romans - I'll end with this verse.
Romans 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
