Luke turned 6 months this past Sunday! We had time to visit Aunt Jonica and she took some awesome photos for us in the park across from her apartment. She moved about 6 weeks ago, so it was nice to finally see where she lives and works. I have to admit I am jealous that she lives in such a cool place with things to do -- city life! We were able to catch up with a few friends from college and meet their daughter. She liked Luke and wanted to hold him (even though he looked bigger than her!)
Today, Luke had his 6 mo check up and weighed in at 20 #'s, 8 oz and was 28'' in length. That's 95% for both (he's a big boy!) I had to survive being in the room during his shots for the first time because Tyler had to get back to work. Luke was a trooper and we are both home now and he's taking a nap :)
Here are a few photos from the park:
It's officially summer for our YG kids, so it will be fun to go hiking with them this week, summer solitude next week and so many other things going on in the coming months!
In the meantime, we are looking forward to some rest tonight after going non stop to Indy, Memorial day with my family and then Monday with Tyler's family! It's been fun :)
Things to be thankful for today: a HEALTHY baby!!! I will never take for granted the things he can do because I know that's not the case for all babies. I am thankful for safe travels and time with our families.
Prayer Requests: To show more of Christ in my everyday life and less of me.
