This (in my opinion) is TOTALLY worth a blog post....Luke is POTTY TRAINED! This happened the week he turned 17 months old, which is unheard of and ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! This momma is getting a cloth diaper break before Levi comes in 3 months :)
What did I do? Used Easter candy and gave him 1 piece anytime he went. I finally figured out on day 3-4 that he goes pee about ever 90 minutes or so. Poop took a few weeks longer b/c there weren't as many opportunities to teach him, but 1 month later and he's GREAT. Still diaper for night/nap time. Usually wakes up dry from nap, but still don't want to chance it..
I thought the transfer to his big boy bed would be just as smooth, but I was WRONG. We haven't really attempted all but the 1 dreadful time that he screamed bloody murder. Both the crib and the big boy bed sit in his room now, and I need to figure out a decision. Fight him on the bed or revert to the crib. I'd like the crib a few weeks after Levi is born for his room, but it's really no rush --- he won't know if he's in a bassinet...
Finishing up 5 quilts in the next week or so and then taking a break for Levi's arrival.
Tyler has been swamped this summer with trips (including 10 days to Texas)! IT will be lonely, but nana will help make the time pass!
